DCC Launches New Version of Industry-Renowned Emergency Notification Software

Franklin, TN – DCC (Dialogic Communications Corp.), a PlantCML company, today announced the much-anticipated release of Communicator! NXT 4.0, the latest version of its industry-renowned emergency notification solution. First introduced in 2003, Communicator! NXT continues to lead the critical communications industry, delivering unprecedented performance, reliability and innovation to both the public and private safety sectors.  

Communicator! NXT is a true, web-based emergency notification application that requires only an Internet connection and Microsoft^® Internet Explorer web browser for its use.  From virtually any location, users can easily manage contact lists (databases), prepare text and voice messages and activate event-specific scenarios for emergency and/or routine situations.  Reports, capturing the results of the entire notification effort, are available in industry-standard .pdf or .xls formats, and are accessible online or in hardcopy (print or email). 

Feature-rich, Communicator! NXT version 4.0 offers numerous enhancements and even greater flexibility than its proven predecessor. This includes the ability to initiate communications in just three easy steps via a single web page, as well as a new “Activation Monitor” that allows users to view the real-time status (i.e. number of people responding) of up to five notifications in progress. Communicator! NXT’s new “Exclude” option enables contacts to temporarily remove themselves from all activations while on vacation, leave of absence, etc. With this option selected, no attempt will be made to reach them until they turn off the setting.  And, satellite phones are now considered an acceptable means for notification.
