Network Infrastructure Technician
As this team member, you will assist in the installation, configuration and maintenance of equipment, supporting the voice and data infrastructure of DCC’s hosting centers.  This includes maintaining LAN and WAN networks; monitoring voice and data networks for potential problems; troubleshooting voice and data issues; maintaining VPN services and security certificates; and establishing new accounts on the network.  You will be required to learn and provide advanced internal voice and data support of the company’s custom communications applications. 

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

  • To be considered, you must be able to configure and diagnose network issues in a Cisco environment.
  • Knowledge of Windows® 2000 server software
  • Active directory and LDAP
  • Capable of learning the intricacies of DCC’s custom communications applications
  • A basic understanding of voice telephony, including T1 and pots line operations, is desired. 
  • Proven ability to work well and communicate effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Must be able to work irregular hours and be productive with frequent interruptions.
  • Requires a two (2) year technical or related degree is required with at least two (2) years related experience and/or equivalent education and experience. 
  • CCNA is strongly desired; and a MCP or MCSE certification is a plus.

Project Manager, Field Services

As a Project Manager, you’ll enjoy a dynamic, influential position and be primarily responsible for developing and maintaining project related Statements of Work, detailed master plans, schedules, budgets, and quality levels that ensures each project’s timely delivery. This position establishes and maintains direct customer contact from the beginning to the end of a project.

The ideal candidate must have solid project management experience in a software development environment, a technical understanding of current PC operating systems (Windows 20002003) combined with experience with telephony and telecommunications, networks and peripheral equipment.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

  • BSEE, BSCS, MSEE or MSCS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • PMI certification a plus.

  • Extremely detail oriented combined with strong problem solving and time management skills.

  • Proven ability to build and lead teams to deliver projects on time and on budget.

  • Proven ability to work well and communicate effectively in cross-functional teams.

System Staging Technician
In this position, you provide and support the architectural framework for computers, networks and telephony products to be installed at customer sites.  You will support the Installations and Training department by maintaining an orderly workflow by monitoring necessary supply levels, preparing product systems to be installed and shipping the necessary products to the correct destination.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Assemble DCC product systems proficiently.

  • Install and configure required hardware and software for each product system.

  • Test appropriate systems for quality assurance, operation, and function.

  • Ship systems, hardware, and/or software to meet specific purchase orders.

  • Monitor hardware, software, and sundry supply levels.

  • Provide support to Installations and Training Technicians during all phases of installation.

  • Maintain work area in an orderly fashion.

  • Provide in-house support of personnel as directed.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications Include:
 

  • Excellent technical and customer service skills and abilities are required. 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and software in a Microsoft environment is required. 

  • A high school diploma in required with two (2) years related experience or training. 

  • Familiarity with LAN and data communication protocols such as: TCP/IP, Netbios(Netbeui), IPX/SPX, etc.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work independently, as well as with others.

  • Ability to work the required hours of the position.

  • Knowledge of database systems design and architecture, specifically relational database technology and communication methods (ODBC).

Senior Software Developer
We have an immediate opening for a Software Developer with five+ years hands-on recent software development experience performing software engineering duties. 

Software Developers at DCC are given assignments that are complex in nature, requiring technical sophistication, including the use of new technologies and techniques and the ability to communicate well in project meetings.

The duties associated with this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Full SDLC participation in Design, heavy programming, unit testing, and troubleshooting.* Develop software using tools such as MS Visual Studio 2005, SQL 2005, Visio Professional, RedGate tools, MSDN.

  • Provide estimates on medium sized tasks and projects.

  • Assist technical support tiers with troubleshooting when required and provide hot fixes for code issues.

  • Participate in functional and code peer reviews.

  • Documentation processes, including assisting the Technical Documentation Department with understanding of product features and functionality, and reviewing user documentation for technical accuracy.

  • Attend periodic training on Microsoft or other technologies and brief other developers on it.

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills are absolutely essential.

  • Proficiency with C#, MS SQL, and at least 3 of the following: ASP.net, Web Services or Remoting, VB.Net, XML, and Windows 2003.

  • Must be able to work required hours for the position.

Technical Support Specialist
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for providing customers with help desk technical assistance by telephone and remote access concerning the operation, installation, maintenance and service of the Company’s products.

 

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Provide Client Software and Hardware Support
  • Respond to routine and emergency support calls from clients offering prompt response to all problems/issues
  • Follow all departmental policies and escalation procedures
  • Ensure problem/issue resolution in a timely manner
  • Communicate with clients via telephone or e-mail
  • Track all calls into Customer database
  • Participate in on-call rotation schedule for client 24/7 after-hours coverage as needed.
  • Maintain customer files
  • Maintain knowledge of all product and service changes
  • Perform other duties as assigned by department manager.
  • Follow workplace operating and environmental, health, and safety procedures and guidelines.

The ideal candidate will be able to meet the following requirements:

  • Experience with direct customer contact preferably in a help desk setting
  • Experience supporting Microsoft operating systems in a stand alone and networked environment.
  • Knowledge of telephony, paging systems, etc.
  • Must be able to work the required hours for the position and may be required to travel occasionally.
  • Candidates must have an A+, MCP, MCSA or equivalent certification and/or equivalent experience.
